| 1. What does a web site
cost?
This is by far the most asked question we receive.
The answer is a little more complicated than just a
dollar amount. eGM Web Services is a custom web design
firm that takes pride in learning a client's business
before working on a project. Our hourly rate is $75.
Basically, each project is evaluated prior to a contract
and a proposal is given based on the amount of hours
we estimate the project would take. Without any changes,
the proposal amount will be our quote for the contract.
All of our contracts have "not-to-exceed"
clauses. We have done projects for as little as $1500
to as much as six-figures. Also, we do offer an affordable
small
business saver package for clients on a budget.

2. What is the difference
between web site design and web site maintenance?
Web site design is the initial development
of the site prior to launching or going live. Web site
maintenance is the updating and changing of content,
or simple graphics, on the site. Minimal changes to
a website are sometimes done without charge. For example,
if you change your phone number and it only takes us
60 seconds to update the page you probably won't be
charged. However, if you expect your site to change
frequently, a web maintenance agreement will most likely
be needed. Our maintenance package includes two hours
of work a month for $75.

| 3. Do you only work with small
businesses? |
No, we have done work for firms with upwards of 2,000
employees. Our affordable rate makes us a great vendor
for the small business market. Therefore, this has become
a "niche" so to speak.

4. How should I prepare
my content for the web site?
First, it would be best to collect as much content information
on your end before the design process starts. This gives
the process a head start as to the amount of pages that
the site will need. Also, it will help out in determining
a lot of design considerations. We suggest that you
send us the information in some digital format (i.e.
Word Document, JPEGS for photos, etc.) so that we do
not have to type/scan things from paper.

5. How long does it take
to build a web site?
There are many factors that determine the time required
to complete a web site, on average it takes approximately
14 to 30 days to complete a site. However, based on
our experience it generally takes longer because we
have to wait on the client to supply content for the
designs.
